Korian, the European leader in Ageing Well, has filed its 2016 registration document (the "Registration Document") with the French Autorité des marchés financiers (the "AMF"), on 26 April 2017. This Registration Document includes notably the annual financial report, the report prepared by the Chairman of the Board of directors on corporate governance and internal control, the reports of the Statutory auditors, as well as the presentation of the share buyback programme.
The Registration Document is available on the AMF's website (www.amf-france.org) as well as on the Company's website (www.korian.com).
The Registration Document is also available, free of charge, at the Company's registered office, located in Paris (8th), 21-25, rue Balzac.
At its meeting today, Korian’s Board of Directors decided unanimously to appoint Sophie Boissard as the Group's Chief Executive Officer to lead the next phase in the Group's growth strategy. Sophie Boissard will take up her position on 26 January 2016.
As at 31st March 2016, Korian generated revenue of €730.4 million, up more than 16%. The Group is benefiting from the integration of Casa Reha since 1st January 2016. The organic growth in the first quarter has reached 4.1%. Revenue share from international subsidiaries continues to increase and now represents 47% of Group sales. During Q1, the number of beds opened or acquired increased by 503 beds, on top of the 10,182 beds of Casa Reha.
Sophie Boissard, Chief Executive Officer of the Korian group, has now fully established her Group Management Board following the arrival of Charles-Antoine Pinel, Nicolas Mérigot and Frédéric Durousseau.
Charles-Antoine Pinel is appointed Executive Vice President of the Seniors Division in France while Nicolas Mérigot is appointed Executive Vice President of the Healthcare Division in France. Both of these positions were temporarily being filled by Sophie Boissard. Frédéric Durousseau is appointed Group Chief Real Estate and Development Officer.
Korian’s revenue of €2,224.0 million at 30 September 2016 represents around 16% growth. This reflects the consolidation of Casa Reha since 1st January and the one of Foyer de Lork in Belgium as from 1st September. For the first nine months of 2016, organic growth was 4.0%. International subsidiaries accounted for 47.1% of the Group’s revenue. Since 1st January, Korian opened or acquired 1,138 beds and consolidated 10,182 beds from Casa Reha and 1,301 from Foyer de Lork.

Korian announces the arrival of Arno Schwalie as CEO of Korian Germany, a strategic market for the Group, starting on 1 July. Ralf Stiller, who sits on the Korian Germany Management Board, will focus on expanding the Group’s business in Germany and neighbouring countries. Arno Schwalie, who until recently headed the Central and Southern Europe business of the Carlson Rezidor hotel group, will contribute his widely recognised experience in the fields of management and integration of facilities networks, real estate management and customer service.
