Sophie Boissard, a French Councillor of State, is a graduate of the Ecole Normale Supérieure and the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA).
After having held various positions in the public sector, notably at the State Council, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance, she joined the Executive Committee of the SNCF group in 2008 where she first created and directed the Gares & Connexions department, management and development of train stations, before moving on in 2014 to oversee SNCF Immobilier, the branch in charge of developing the SNCF group’s real estate property and other holdings.
Between 2012 and 2014, she was also responsible for the SNCF group’s strategy and development, focusing particularly on the diversification of the Group’s activities, especially on the international level, as well as on strategic partnerships and innovation while in parallel overseeing the merger with the Réseau Ferré Français (RFF) in France.
Since 26 January 2016, Sophie Boissard is Chief executive officer of the Korian group.
She is also a member of the supervisory board at Allianz (an insurance group).
