Didier Armaingaud is a doctor of medicine and is authorized to practice in gerontology.
Dr. Didier Armaingaud began his career with the Paris public hospital system as head of “La Collégiale". He joined MEDICA in 1994 (taken over by Korian in 2014), and was appointed Medical and Quality Director in 1999.
In March 2014, he takes on the role of Head of Ethics, Medical, Quality and France Regulatory requirements and as such, joins the French Board of Directors.
Since 1 June 2016, he has been appointed Group Medical, Ethics and Quality Director.
He also teaches in several different institutes: since 1998 at Paris Descartes University, in the Cochin-Port Royal faculty of medicine teaching on the inter-university diploma for coordinating physicians in nursing homes, and since 2013 at the Pierre and Marie Curie University, in the Charles Foix Hospital teaching on the inter-university diploma for coordinating physicians in nursing homes.
Didier Armaingaud wrote also a book " So many things to live together ", for a renewed outlook on elderly support, through the personalized project with one strong and essential ambition: to allow them to stay " actor of their own life and decisions ".
