Korian clinics awarded A-grade certification by the French National Authority for Health

The French National Authority for Health has awarded an A-grade certification to four post-acute and rehabilitation Korian clinics in France. This rating, which is awarded for a six-year period, acknowledges the work put in by all the staff and the quality of care provided within the facilities.

This A-grade certification award corroborates the quality and security of the care provided by:

• The post-acute and rehabilitation clinic Mont Ventoux in Carpentras,

• The post-acute and rehabilitation clinic Le Haut Lignon in Chambon-sur-Lignon,

• The post-acute and rehabilitation clinic Le Golfe in Cogolin,

• And the post-acute and rehabilitation clinic Montvert in Castelmaurou.

Korian Mont Ventoux certification A

The certification is based on an assessment procedure conducted by the French National Authority for Health among healthcare facilities. The Authority is independent from the facility and its supervisory bodies; it assesses the level of care and services provided to patients, quality improvement efforts, and the safety of the care delivered at the facility. After undergoing a thorough audit, facilities are certified on a scale ranging from A to D. As A is the highest score, the rating awarded to the four above-mentioned clinics comes as official recognition by an independent public authority of the quality of care they provide.

More specifically, the rating is awarded on the basis of the facility’s medical services, monitoring procedures, paperwork compliance, and input from patient organisations. The audit process, which places the priority on the patient, also looks at quality and risk management, patients’ rights and their care journey, the way patient records are handled, and medication management.
