Korian acquires the Fontdivina residence

The Korian group, European leader in care and support services for seniors, announces its acquisition of the Fontdivina residence in Beausoleil, near Monaco. The group will be taking over management of the home.
Fontdivina is a 7,500 m² upmarket residential facility comprising:

  • 74 healthcare beds in 70 individual 30 m² bedrooms and two connecting suites
  • a protected unit with 16 beds
  • six assisted living apartments

The establishment was opened in 2008 by Michel Schmutz, who has a sound background in senior care. Of the 50 employees, almost half are medical staff and will continue to care for the residents in line with the home’s current policy which is based on a programme of excellence. The Fontdivina residence – an elegant building with a discerningly designed interior in a prime seafront location – consolidates Korian’s high-end offering.
At a time when new openings are few and far between, we are delighted to add this home to our network, which stands out by the quality of its architecture and the level of personalised services it provides for its residents and their families” said Charles-Antoine Pinel, Korian’s France Seniors Division Executive VP. Korian has 11 long-term care nursing homes, one 947-bed assisted living facility and one 50-bed post-acute and rehabilitation care facility in the Alpes Maritimes region in the South of France.
