The future Korian health complex will open its doors in spring 2021

Nicolas Mérigot, CEO of Korian France Healthcare, and Bruno Perez, Regional Director of Icade Promotion for the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, today broke ground on the upcoming post-acute care (PAC) facility in Saintes, France, in the presence of Eric Morival, Head of the Charente-Maritime departmental agency of the ARS, and Jean-Philippe Machon, Mayor of Saintes.

Stemming from the project to relocate the Korian Mornay facility currently located in Saint-Pierre-de-l’Isle, the Korian health complex will become part of the senior care industry in the Saintes area. In addition to a 60-bed post-acute care inpatient facility, this new health complex will include a day hospital with 14 outpatient beds. Both facilities will provide comprehensive and specialized care for elderly, polypathological patients who are dependent or likely to become so. The future health center will also include a consultation center open to the city, in which private professionals will consult.

This large-scale project has emerged from the development partnership formed between Icade and Korian in September 2017. Located in the heart of the “Sur Moreau” district, the future Korian health complex will open its doors in spring 2021.
