Focus on Positive Care with the VITATTIVA calendar

For 2019, Korian Italy has decided to create a calendar that is both a practical tool and an opportunity to involve patients and Korian employees and their families. Through the organization of two casting sessions (Korian Physiotherapists and the Italian headquarters), 12 employees and 12 patients aged 20 to 90 years old were selected to be "one-day models" in a real photo studio, with the objective of showing different activities carried out each day.

The Vittativa Calendar celebrates the fundamental values of Korian's philosophy of active living and the Positive Care approach, a comprehensive and empathetic approach to caring for patients and residents.

Positive Care at Korian is the approach of an accompaniment towards more well-being and joy, around a quality care, listening to patients, residents and their families. This is Korian's uniqueness in the world of health and support for seniors.

The care of patients and residents also requires the practice of physical activities adapted to each person. In accordance with WHO recommendations, Korian clinics implement programs designed by health professionals to include sport as a non-drug therapy with positive impacts on patients' memory, balance, nutrition and psychological state.

"Our intention with this calendar is to promote Korian's Positive Care approach in our nursing homes, specialized clinics and service residences. Every month in this calendar highlights some of the activities of the Korian Group's facilities for the psychological and physical well-being of our patients and residents," comments Mariuccia Rossini, General Manager Korian Italy.
